Freestyle Motocross
Friday - 7:30 PM
Well from the sounds of it Youngstown is a favorite of many of the riders. I did
not know this but quite a few of the riders said this is their big spot to practice.
Gary Robertson said a few of the riders have built a Dew Action Sports Tour style
course where they hone their skills. The finals seemed like a carbon copy of last
week in Cleveland with one new comer Sean Conners doing his part to get in. Thomas
Alves took the win with another big run which included four different back flip
combos.
Slade Waltman finished
in the second slot with his run being even tighter than last week. Sean Conners
repeated a trick trying to do a rebate or doing the trick again because the
first time wasn't up to his standards. Jason Rowe was just off when it came
to his final run. Tomorrow I feel he will be one to watch.
Double teams had a little trouble keeping in sync with the blind spot at the
end of the course.
Well all is well
in Youngstown. Even though Keith Wineland turns 21 today I guess he fells like
it is Older town.

Saturday - 7:30 PM
Well Thomas Alves is becoming a household name in Freestyle. He took the big win
tonight. That if I am not mistaken that makes three in a row. Gary Robertson made
the finals after I believe Clint was unable to make the call at the last minute.
Shawn Conner what a great finish to his run the sterilizer. He looked as if he
was going to have a missed trick but at the last second threw the legs over the
bars and landed it. Greg Hartman and Jason Rowe took the doubles win with tricks
that not only were precise but they were on each others tails like nobody's business.
It was an action packed night with no spills and chills but everyone came to have
a good time and did.
